What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at I-45 in Houston, TX on June 28th, 2024. Reports say the incident happened around 10:50 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed on College Ave before passing an officer. Reports claim the officer attempted to perform a traffic stop which led to a pursuit of the motorcycle. The motorcycle is alleged to have struck a retaining wall while taking a flyover exit ram, the impact ejecting the operator from the vehicle.
