What Happened

Area authorities have information a crash that injured a motorcyclist at Johnson Ave and 15th St in Kingsville, TX on May 9th, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 12:46 a.m. According to investigators, a Yamaha XV250 motorcycle operated by 52-year-old Mario Trevino was headed westbound on Johnston Ave when it veered south and collided with a parked, unoccupied Toyota.  The impact caused Trevino to be ejected from the bike and suffer serious injuries. Responding officers allege suspicion that Trevino may have been under the influence of alcohol and reports indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued.
