What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 287 in Armstrong County, TX on June 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:20 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by 38-year-old Mario Ubaldo Trujillo Perez reportedly veered from the road into a median before traveling back onto the road. It then struck the rear of a Toyota Scion. The impact caused the tractor-trailer to overturn into a median, causing serious injuries. One person in the Scion was treated for minor injuries. Police issued Failure to Drive in Single Lane and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility charges to Perez.
