Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 256 in Briscoe County, TX on August 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:25 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Corolla operated by 50-year-old Mark Olson is believed to have been headed southbound at the time. They believe the vehicle was rounding a curve in the roadway before veering from the road over a cliff before landing around 50 feet below. The crash left Olson with fatal injuries at the scene.
