What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at Nasa Parkway in El Lago, TX on May 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:19 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra operated by a 24-year-old McAllen man was headed eastbound on Nasa Pkwy when a Toyota Camry operated by 30-year-old Marlon Ybarra was headed westbound. Investigators say the Sierra veered into oncoming traffic and collided with the Camry. The collision left Ybarra with fatal injuries. A 31-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries. The McAllen man, who officers allege may have consumed alcohol, was also seriously injured. Reports indicate a Failure to Immediately Report Accident charge was recommended and/or issued.
