Police say the incident happened around 6:55 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Escape is alleged to have failed to yield right of way while entering into the intersection at South Boggie Street. Reports say the vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Equinox headed eastbound at State Hwy 77. The collision is said to have left 77-year-old Chevrolet operator, Mary Langston, seriously injured.
