Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a teen at US 190 and County Rd 3080 in Kempner, TX on February 8th, 2022. Police say the incident happened just before 1 p.m. According to investigators, A Ford Fusion operated by 17-year-old Maryangela Cheyenne Williams was approaching the intersection with an active turn signal when it allegedly turned when unsafe. The vehicle is said to have turned into the path of a commercial truck and the vehicles collided, causing fatal injuries to Williams at the scene. Her 17-year-old passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries. The truck driver involved was not injured. Additional information was not available.
