Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at I-635 in Dallas, TX on May 9th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:36 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 47-year-old Fort Worth man was stopped on the eastbound side of the service road of 635 while a Cadillac SRX operated by 50-year-old Mason Wayne Gann was traveling eastbound. Police say the truck had active hazard lights and was parked in a travel lane when it was struck by the Cadillac, causing Gann serious injuries. Investigators allege an open beer can was found in the vehicle and suggested alcohol may have factored into the crash. Additional information was not available.
