Authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-20 in Weatherford, TX on August 3rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:19 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Terrain headed eastbound is alleged to have lost control while allegedly passing other vehicles. The vehicle is said to have entered into a shoulder before striking a cable barrier and rotating into the path of an approaching westbound Chevrolet Suburban. Reports say the two vehicles collided, the collision leaving 37-year-old Chevrolet operator, Mateo Gonzalez Moreno, seriously injured. 33-year-old passenger, Jacqueline Moreno, had less serious injuries while a 10-year-old passenger was more seriously injured.
