What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 287 in Forest Hill, TX on November 4th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:23 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord operated by 37-year-old Thomas Henry was headed southbound on Hartman Rd before allegedly failing to yield right of way at the intersection with US 287. The vehicle collided with a Ford Ranger operated by 62-year-old Mateo Rico, causing the Ford to overturned and strike a Chevrolet Malibu stopped at a nearby stop sign. Rico was seriously injured while no other injuries were reported. Officers recommended and/or issued and Intoxication Assault charge.
