Police have inforamtion on a crash that killed a driver at US 59 in Polk County, TX on November 8th, 2024. Officials are saying the incident happend around 6:16 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Insight headed southbound is alleged to have left the roadway for unknown reasons before colliding with a tree and catching fire. Authorities say the driver, identified as 18-year-old Matthew Deluna, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Authorities did not have additional inforamtion available.
