Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at I-69E in Nueces County, TX on June 21st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:09 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Suburban was headed southbound on US 77 before alleged veering out of its lane. Reports say the vehicle entered onto an entry ramp curb before re-entering a main lane and striking a motorcyclist. Police say the motorcyclist, identified as 29-year-old Matthew Gray had allegedly been involved in a previous crash and was standing in a lane of travel prior to the collision. Following the collision, reports say the Chevrolet left the scene without stopping to render aid. Gray was fatally injured in the incident and report say the driver of the Chevrolet faces pending potential charges. Additional information was not available.
