Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 725 in Guadalupe County, TX on August 5th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:21 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-350 was northbound on FM 735, rounding a curve in the roadway. The vehicle is said to have crossed double yellow lines onto the opposite side of the road before colliding with a Chevrolet Silverado. Reports indicate the driver of the Ford, identified as 49-year-old Matthew Rasmussen, was fatally injured. The other driver, only identified as a 20-year-old La Vernia man, was seriously injured, police say. Additional information was not available.
