What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Raintree Woods Dr in Fair Oaks Ranch, TX on August 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:29 p.m. A commercial box truck-trailer was traveling when the trailer portion came into contact with power lines. The lines detached and fell onto a Toyota Highlander traveling behind it, crashing through the windshield. The driver, 42-year-old Meagan Amber McClendon, as well as her 11-year-old passenger both suffered minor injuries. The other driver was not injured.
