Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at President George Bush Turnpike in Garland, TX on September 5th, 2021. Police are saying the incident happened around 10:35 a.m. A Chevrolet Tahoe operated by a 46-year-old Garland man was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when, due to suspected driver inattention, it lost control. Investigators say the vehicle overcorrected and collided with a Saturn Vue operated by 31-year-old Megan Lindsey. Lindsey suffered serious in the collision. The other driver was not injured and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
