Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at US 67 and Ward Rd in Midlothian, TX on May 21st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:04 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC Yukon operated by 30-year-old Megan McLees was headed southbound on Hwy 67 when it allegedly swerved to avoid a collision with a semi-truck. It then traveled down an embankment before stopping near an overpass. McLees suffered serious injuries in the crash. Reports indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued.
