Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at State Hwy 99 in Harris County, TX on August 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:25 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 26-year-old Heritage Creek, KY man was slowing for traffic when it was rear ended by a Lexus LX operated by 51-year-old Melinda Kathleen Wood. Wood was seriously injured in the collision. The Heritage Creek man was not injured.
