What Happened

Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that injured at least two people at US 281 in Hamilton, TX on May 4th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:20 p.m. and involved at least four vehicles. Authorities claim a northbound Buick Enclave collided with a Chevrolet Malibu, which struck a Chevrolet Silverado. Authorities say the Buick continued northbound and also struck a Can-Am Syder, ejected its two occupants from the vehicle. The occupants, identified as 48-year-old Michael Antu and 52-year-old Vanessa Antu, were both seriously injured. The drivers of the Chevrolet vehicles were allegedly uninjured while the Buick operator had possible, undisclosed injuries. Sources indicate the Buick operator was also charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
