What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that killed a driver at FM 69 in Wood County, TX on December 14th, 2021. They say the incident happened on wet roads as a vehicle operated by 48-year-old Michael Baines was headed south on FM 69. The vehicle went into a skid upon losing control and overturned multiple times. Baines was hospitalized with serious injuries the he later died from.
