Police have information on a crash that killed a pair of motorcyclists at State Hwy 87 in Galveston, TX on November 1st, 2024. Investigators say the incident happened around 11:25 p.m. According to investigators, an eastbound motorcycle is alleged to have turned left onto 27th St ahead of a westbound motorcycle. Police say that due to the speed to the vehicle, a collision occurred that left both drivers fatally injured. Authorities identified the eastbound motorcyclist as 47-year-old Michael Beatty. The other motorcyclist was only identified as a 32-year-old Irondale, AL man. Additional information was not available.
