What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Central Blvd in Jefferson County, TX on September 18th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:38 p.m. A Suzuki motorcycle operated by 37-year-old Michael Collins was said to have been spotted by a witness allegedly revving its engine prior to takeoff. Once it began operating, it reportedly lost control and overturned, sliding about 25 feet. Collins suffered fatal injuries while his passenger, 27-year-old Brandy Collins, suffered serious injuries.
