Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-40 in Carson County, TX on September 19th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:14 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed eastbound is alleged to have failed to control its speed, colliding with the rear of a trailer attached to a GMC Envoy. Reports say the truck lost control, entering into a nearby median before overturning into westbound lanes while the GMC overturned. Authorities say the driver of the GMC, identified as 64-year-old Michael Conrad, was seriously injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and allegedly uninjured.
