Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 207 in Carson County, TX on January 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:03 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 53-year-old Houston man was believed to be traveling westbound FM 2385 as a Lincoln MKZ was headed southbound on State Hwy 207. Investigators say the truck failed to yield right of way at the stop sign intersection there and collided with the Lincoln, causing serious injuries to the driver, 31-year-old Michael David Shepherd. The Houston man was not injured and records show a Failure to Yield ROW at Stop Intersection charge was recommended and/or issued.
