What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at I-35E in Waxahachie, TX on August 3rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6 a.m. According to investigators, a vehicle is alleged to have performed a lane change to go around a vehicle. While doing so, reports say the vehicle struck a Ford Fusion, which was disabled and in the process of being pushed from the rad by its operator. Its operator, identified as 62-year-old Michael Jackson, was fatally injured. There were no other reported injuries and authorities did not have any additional information available.
