What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured several people at  I-20 in Palo Pinto County, TX on June 8th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:47 p.m. Three vehicles were stopped in traffic due to an earlier crash when a Ford F-150 operated by 54-year-old Michael Lewis collided with the rear of a Lexus GX operated by a 51-year-old El Paso man. The impact pushed the Lexus into another vehicle, causing the El Paso man and his 41-year-old passenger minor injuries. Lewis was more seriously injured and charged with Failure to Control Speed.
