Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-10 in San Antonio, TX on February 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:14 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 55-year-old Laredo man was traveling behind a GMC Sierra operated by 58-year-old Michael McGarity on I-10. Investigators say McGarity informed them a vehicle ahead of the Sierra cut the Sierra off, causing it to come to a sudden stop. The tractor-trailer was reportedly carrying a full load of cargo, causing the truck to experience difficulty slowing in time to avoid the resulting collision between the two vehicles, pushing the Sierra in the concrete wall to the right.
