What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 105 in Conroe, TX on April 27th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:55 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Equinox was traveling westbound behind a tractor-trailer. Allegedly due to possible drive distraction, reports claim the vehicle collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer directly ahead of the vehicle. A 25-year-old passenger in the vehicle, who was not publicly identified, was seriously injured. The driver, identified as 20-year-old Michael Gabriel Scott, was fatally injured, reports say.
