Police say the incident happened around 2:13 p.m. Investigators say a tractor-trailer operated by a 21-year-old Bennington, OK man was headed westbound approaching the intersection with Pool Rd. Police allege a Hyundai Elantra operated by 63-year-old Michael Steven Cheek may have pulled ahead of the truck, the two colliding in the process. The collision caused the Hyundai to be pushed into a tree line, leaving Cheek with injuries believed to be serious. The other driver was not injured.
