Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US Hwy 67 in Upton County, TX on July 8th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:35 a.m. A Chevrolet pickup truck operated by 36-year-old Michael L Zuniga was headed eastbound when it reportedly crossed into a westbound lane and crashed head-on into an International tractor-trailer. Zuniga suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The other driver and a passenger were hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
