What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at FM 1960 in Houston, TX on February 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. All that police were able to say was that a pedestrian wearing dark-colored clothing walking in a dimly lit area was struck by a vehicle while allegedly crossing outside a marked crosswalk. The vehicle involved is said to have fled the scene after the collision and the pedestrian, later identified as Michelle McLemore, suffered fatal injuries. Additional details were not provided.
