Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Research Forest Dr in Shenandoah, TX on June 12th, 2022. Police believe the crash happened around 9:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Frontier operated by 64-year-old Ignacio Castillo was headed eastbound when it allegedly failed to control its speed before colliding with a Hyundai Genesis. The driver of the Hyundai, identified as 60-year-old Michelle Montrell Westley was seriously injured. Castillo was not injured and officers recommended and/or issued a Failure to Control Speed charge.
