El Paso Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-10 in El Paso, TX on June 6th, 2022. Police say it happened around 1:12 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Rogue operated by 26-year-old Miguel Angel Ortiz was reportedly headed eastbound in a left shoulder of I-10 at an alleged high rate of speed, approaching a construction zone. The vehicle is said to have collided head-on with a barrier and barrel in the zone, causing very serious injuries that he later died from. Additional details were not available.
