Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Sandy Lake Rd in Coppell, TX on September 7th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:45 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado headed westbound on Sandy lake Rd is said to have left the roadway while navigating a curve. Reports say the vehicle traveled over a raised curb portion of the road, traveling westbound through a grassy area and into a utility pole. From there, reports say the vehicle struck a nearby utility box before overturning and striking a brick wall. The driver, identified as 35-year-old Miguel Consuelos Lopez, was fatally injured, reports say. Additional information was not available.
