Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 304 in Gonzales County, TX on July 10th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:44 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed northbound was allegedly slowing to perform a left turn into a dirt road at the time. While doing so, reports say the truck was rear-ended by a Nissan Kicks, operated by 18-year-old Mikayla Vinklarek. Authorities say Vinklarek was seriously injured in the collision.
