What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at US 84 in Mills County, TX on August 12th, 2021. Police are saying the crash happened around 11:03 p.m. Responding officers say that both drivers involved in the crash reported believing the other driver displayed behavior that led them to believe they were altering their driving behaviors purposely due to potential road rage. Ultimately, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 36-year-old Mike Vigil Jr reportedly applied brakes due to headlamps from the vehicle behind making it difficult to see properly and the vehicle behind, a Chevrolet 3500, collided with the truck. Vigil suffered minor injuries.
