Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at State Hwy 289 in Sherman, TX on May 1st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:25 p.m. According to investigators, a Volvo S60 was entering an on-ramp on Hwy 289 before allegedly failing to yield to oncoming traffic and proceeding into the path of a BMW 430I. The two vehicles collided, authorities say, leaving the driver of the BMW, identified as 55-year-old Mildred Dickerson, seriously injured. A 36-year-old passenger was also seriously injured.
