Authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-35 in Gainesville, TX on February 20th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:59 a.m. Investigators say a Volkswagen Jetta was headed northbound on I-35 prior to colliding with the rear of a disabled tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer, officials say, was parked in a lane of travel and the impact caused the occupants of the Volkswagen to be ejected from the vehicle.
