Area authorities are investigating a collision that killed a driver at FM 830 and FM 3083 in Conroe, TX on April 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. According to police, a Buick Skylark was reportedly attempted to be stopped by police for an expired registration when it led to a chase. The vehicle was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed prior to an attempt to travel around another vehicle. The Buick lost control in the process before crashing into a business sign and crushing the vehicle. The driver, identified as Milton Ray Franklin, suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
