What Happened

Harris County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at Tuckerton Rd in Harris County, TX in July 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:45 p.m. Police allege a Ford F-350 operated by 38-year-old Brett Huber ran a red light while headed eastbound on Tuckerton Rd. The vehicle collided with a Toyota Sienna headed northbound at Greenhouse Rd, operated by 20-year-old Minh Hoang Tran. The collision left Tran with fatal injuries at the scene while a 14-year-old passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries. Huber was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Authorities have recommended and/or issued intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault with vehicle charges. Additional information was not immediately available.
