Authorities in Webster, TX, are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on December 22, 2024, at approximately 12:06 a.m. at the intersection of State Highway NASA Road 1 and South Kobayashi Road. A GMC Yukon was traveling north when it disregarded a red light and collided  with a Hyundai Sonata traveling west. Reports indicate the driver of the Hyundai, identified as Mohammed Uddin, was seriously injured. Two passengers in the same vehicle, ages 21 and 23, both had suspected minor injuries, as did the driver of the GMC. Additional information was not available.
