What Happened

Police in the area have information on a crash that injured three people at Belknap Ave in Stephenville, TX on October 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:24 p.m. Investigators say a Jeep Patriot operated by 65-year-old Mona Murphy Zmeskal was previously stopped at a stop sign before continuing forward. At the same time, a Nissan SUV operated by a 26-year-old Stephenville woman approached eastbound on Frey. The two vehicles collided at the intersection, officers suspecting one of the vehicles may have failed to yield. The Stephenville woman has minor injuries, as did as 12-year-old passenger in the Jeep. Zmeskal had more serious injuries, according to police. Additional information was not available.
