Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Loop 1604 in San Antonio, TX on January 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:50 a.m. A commercial truck operated by a 48-year-old San Antonio man collided with a Kia Rio at a yield sign. The driver claimed the Rio driver, 32-year-old Monica Nicole Mondragon, pulled out into the path of the truck. Officers say Mondragon told them she was stopped at the yield sign waiting for traffic to proceed when her vehicle was struck.
