What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-35 in New Braunfels, TX on March 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:25 a.m. According to police, a Nissan Altima operated by 28-year-old Montavious Miller was headed southbound on I-35 when it lost control. Investigators allege suspicion the vehicle lost control possibly due to driver inattention or possible alcohol use. It then struck a curb and overturned before catching fire. Miller suffered serious injuries and reports indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued.
