What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 2154 and Wellborn Rd in College Station, TX on January 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:57 a.m. Investigators say a motorcycle was northbound on FM 2154 nearing the Harvey Mitchell Parkway intersection at the time. Officials allege a southbound Chevrolet Camaro failed to yield before turning into the path of the approaching motorcycle, the two vehicles colliding in the process. Reports indicate the motorcyclist, age 19 and not publicly identified, was seriously injured. Reports further indicate the other driver, age 43 and also not publicly identified, was uninjured and cited for Failure to Yield Row. Additional information was not available.
