Corpus Christi Police are investigating a collision that injured a motorcyclist at S Padre Island Dr and Weber Rd in Corpus Christi, TX on April 6th, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 10:38 p.m. According to reprots, officials say a passenger vehicle headed eastbound on S Padre Island Dr is alleged to have run a red light before colliding with a motorcycle headed southbound on Weber Rd. Officials say the 26-year-old motorcycle operator was hospitalized with injuries said to be life-threatening in nature. The 17-year-old passenger vehicle operator was allegedly arrested on an intoxication assault charge. Officials did not have additional information available.
