What Happened

San Angelo Police are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at US 87 in San Angelo, TX on July 12th, 2023. Police say the incident happened when a southbound utility truck veered into an inside lane in order to avoid a collision with a southbound motorcycle. Investigators say as it did so, the motorcycle collided with the truck, ejecting its operator from the vehicle. Police say the operator, who was not publicly identified, had suspected non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other reported injuries and officials say no citations have currently been issued.
