What Happened

Authorities in Dallas, TX, are investigating a pedestrian-involved crash that occurred on March 2, 2025, at around 3:27 p.m. at the intersection of S Malcolm X Boulevard and Twyman Avenue. A  Mazda 3 was traveling southeast when it struck a 55-year-old pedestrian who failed to yield the right of way. The pedestrian sustained suspected serious injuries. Alcohol use by the pedestrian was noted as a contributing factor. The Mazda was uninsured and operated by an unlicensed 45-year-old driver, who was uninjured. No charges were filed.
