What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that injured several people at Grand Parkway and Kingsland Blvd in Houston, TX on October 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11 p.m. According to instigators, a Chevrolet Camaro was allegedly speeding prior to colliding with the rear of an SUV. Following the collision police allege the 18-year-old driver of the Camaro fled the scene on-foot, leaving a 16-year-old passenger behind. Police say she was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Two occupants of the SUV were also hospitalized while the driver of a third vehicle that was somehow involved was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials neither driver was suspected of being intoxicated at the time. Additional information was not available.
