Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-35 in San Marcos, TX on April 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:38 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord operated by 54-year-old Myron Liggins is said to have collided with an overturned truck operated by 34-year-old Rodolfo Lopez Jr. Investigators allege Lopez's vehicles lost control and crashed due to alleged suspected intoxication. Liggins suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Lopez was arrested at the scene and reports indicate a charge for Intoxication Manslaughter was recommended and/or issued.
