Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed two teens at I-14 in Coryell County, TX on July 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:52 a.m. Investigators believe a Dodge Ram headed eastbound left the roadway for unclear reasons. From there, authorities say the vehicle traveled down an embankment and overturned, ejecting both the driver and a passenger. The driver, identified as 18-year-old Nakoda Cheyenne Layton, was killed.
